6 and 21

6. Did they feel rejection or affection as a child?

I could’ve sworn I’ve answered this one before, but I can’t find it in my asks, so…maybe I didn’t?? Anyways.

Mostly affection. J’hasi was a little weird in comparison to the other kids in the tribe, but kids are curious and accepting generally at that age, so no worries. Some of the adults were a little ehh with him, but Sees put a stop to that fairly early. The first incident of rejection I can think of is when J’hasi first met Shadows, but that’s…sort of a weird thing altogether. During his enslavement, the others in bondage with him were caring towards him and Shadows, and thus J’hasi didn’t have incidents with rejection again until his second master bit it and he was left to the streets to fend for himself.

So…both?

21. What are your character’s manners like? What is their type of hero? Whom do they hate?

Answered! TL;DR he’s polite unless you’re rude to him, then fuck you, he likes Robin Hood/Grey Fox -esque heroes, and hates rich people that benefit off the backs of the poor.

♀ and ♚

♀ how long does your muse usually need for a shower/bath?

If he’s not in a hurry or if the water isn’t too cold, a very, very long time. He loves the water and he’ll swim around long after he’s clean, okay it’s time to come out now, oh five more minutes! The only way bathtime is shorter is if he’s made to wash up in a basin rather than a body of water of some sort, something he wants is withheld until he’s dry, or if he’s utterly fucking exhausted. There’s something to be said for letting him take his time after his bath to swim around, his mood is certainly better for it.

♚ do they have a favourite piece of clothing?

Answered! Though I’ll add that he likes big hoods, for similar feelings of security. He likes his clothes a little big on him, though he’s never really worn clothes that actually fit him properly in the first place.

Favorite Movie/Book Genre: romance Action, obviously…knights and princesses and uh…fighting…yes…

How They Change: Baht opens up more to Cyrodiils and their weird fucking culture on his trip outside of Black Marsh.
Why You Love Them: He’s a sweetheart and his and J’hasi’s relationship warms the cold dead cockles of my heart :3c

✒︎ [[One for TES and one for Fallout :)]]

J’hasi is happiest in the water, assuming it’s relatively shallow (no more than 100 meters or so, or so long as he can see the bottom, assuming it isn’t too open under him), and especially so if there’s tasty fish to be caught. Crabs are alright, clams are tasty and not too much work to eat, but the chase isn’t as much fun as it is with fish. He’s an excellent hunter underwater, and if not for the fact that he needs to breathe air, he’d be content to hunt for hours under the surface.

He tends to linger at the surface, floating until he finds something, diving down, creeping up on it, then striking fast with his spear or claws before he runs out of air and returning to the surface to eat if he caught something. Someday he’ll figure out waterbreathing spells, and then he’ll be able to try out the techniques of his tribe back in Black Marsh, as well as some new ones he’s thought up over the years.

Jes isn’t quite as good of a hunter as their original TES counterpart, typically eating various edible cacti and other Mojave flora, and only opportunistically on the fauna, either as scavenging or getting the jump on them, throwing their wrench, traps, attacking them with their hands, whatever they can do, assuming the prey isn’t too dangerous. Usually it’s only very small things they can catch and eat, radroaches, mantids, and very young geckos being their typical fare far as protein goes.

Water is taken from any place they can find, whether prebottled or snuck from the taps where it’s pumped from underground. They will not drink from exposed water surfaces because of their extreme fear of radiation and fallout. They haven’t thought that maybe their food could have it too, so they haven’t starved just yet.
