♱ What do they think awaits them after death?
As of right now, the Hunting Grounds, an afterlife he’s not too keen on. It’s the reason he’s so desperate to find a cure for his lycanthropy. While he doesn’t have an aging body to serve as a deadline, the threat of the Thalmor finding him (and the highly likely torture and death to follow) and the fact that he really doesn’t want to live much longer than he has certainly serves well enough in its place. He’s not exactly terrified of Hircine persay, but he believes that royally screwing over the Daedric Prince’s Hunt means that he’s on Hircine’s shitlist and wants to stay as far away from him as possible.
Plus…he’s not fond of the idea of being Hircine’s personal hunting hound. He can think of a million other things he’d rather be.

ϟ Have they ever gotten pleasure from causing others pain?
J’hasi’s not exactly fond of causing pain period. He won’t hesitate to use it when needed, like to get away or to get a point across someone who’s too stubborn or thick to get it with just words, but in terms of causing pain for the sake of enjoyment, no.
With Thalmor…that’s sort of a special case. He won’t be quite as efficient in fighting/killing them, so if they’re alive and in a lot of pain for a few seconds more, he’s not too fussed about it. That wasn’t always the case though…

✔ Are they holding a grudge against anyone?
Azura. He’s furious with her for what he sees as her punishment for the Tribunal, dragging in people who had nothing to do with it. I mean, for his part he didn’t have much of a choice. It was either a) let Dagoth Ur spread his Blight all over Morrowind, potentially all of Tamriel, or b), kill him, destroy the Heart, and lead to the fall of the Tribunal, Baar Dau, and causing the Red Year, which killed countless people and left the rest homeless refugees, who afterwards got kicked in the teeth with the Accession War. Yeah…totally appropriate…
He has a grudge against the Thalmor as well, but it’s not as deep-seated as his grudge against Azura. While his loyalty to the Blades is more due to loyalty to a friend rather than sharing ideologies, having the Thalmor come in and kill his friends, his mentee, and scattering any survivors to the winds and are still out for his blood to this day? Yeah, I’d say he’s pretty pissed at them.
