“Trouble?”

J’hasi jumped a little, ears pricked and alert at the voice before he turned to look. His fur only flattened marginally, tail still behind him as his eyes flicked from the Nord, to where he’d been tracking a particular guardsman. Said guardsman had vanished in the time it took for him to look back. The Khajiit let out the barest huff of disappointment between his teeth before turning around to face the stranger once more.

“Not here. Nice day, though.” he said, letting the complacent snake he’d had in his hands coil around his fingers, scales gleaming in the warm sunshine.
